Condor was founded in 1948 with the goal to make the best bicycles possible and inspire everyone to get out on two wheels. Since its founding Condor bicycles have been ridden to World Championship medals, multiple National titles, and ridden in the Tour de France.

As more and more marques take their manufacturing to the Far East, Condor continue to produce their frames by hand in Italy, creating everything from race bikes to gravel-ready machines, from carbon fibre, ultralight aluminium, high grade performance steel, and stainless steel. Their frame builders are true craftsmen and have many years of experience in welding and constructing with absolute precision, as well as finishing to the highest standard. They create frames that are visually and structurally beautiful, and this translates into unparalleled ride quality.

Condor bikes take inspiration from their rich British heritage. Few brands can claim to have had their bikes ridden by household names like Ed Clancy, OBE, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Tao Geoghegan-Hart, Eric Clapton, and Mick Jagger.

The Condor Range

Condor Acciaio, Super Acciaio and Acciaio Stainless

The Acciaio is built for long sojourns in the saddle and grand col mountain climbing. It has a longer wheelbase and slightly taller head tube than our frames with race geometry to reduce rider fatigue on gruelling big ride days. The Acciaio is a lightweight and responsive frameset. The presence of carbon, magnesium, molybdenum and vanadium in the steel tubing creates stiffness, allowing you to push the limits of your fitness. A taller head tube blended with race geometry puts this frame at home on any race circuit or gruelling sportive.

The Super Acciaio provides a more aggressive set up having been developed with pro riders looking to seek a race-ready steel frameset. It was the first UCI approved steel bike to appear on the pro scene since the nineties, the Super Acciaio can hold its own in crits and on climbs, thanks to an exquisite selection of custom-formed Columbus Spirit HSS tubes and monocoque carbon fork.

The Acciaio stainless is a stunning bike that offers a unique combination of comfort and performance. Unlike other stainless steel tubesets, Columbus uses seamless stainless steel, which enables the tube walls to be drawn extremely thin at just 0.4mm. This keeps the weight low whilst having a higher stiffness to weight ratio than Titanium. Custom colour included as standard. Each Acciaio Stainless is built upon the request of our customers and is available with Super Acciaio, Acciaio or custom geometry . Each bicycle is offered with a full fit and is available in up to 50 colours.

Condor Barracchi, Leggero and Leggero SL

The Barrachi is designed to make those uber-long days in the saddle that little bit easier, the handmade frame is constructed using tubes that feature the same nanotechnology as our race-winning Leggero collection. Condor have tuned the frame to add a little more comfort to protect your body from the vibrations of the road, whilst keeping the ride fun. Disc brakes provide extra confidence when descending and consistent braking in all conditions.

The Leggero has been developed to be fast, light, and stop on demand. The wind-slicing, droplet-shaped tubes are constructed with our top-of-the-line, nano carbon technology, that creates a responsive ride from the gun. Developed with pro riders for over a decade our Leggero has been constantly refined to remain as competitive as possible, the Leggero was the first bike to win a UCI level race in Britain. With oversized square stays. The Leggero is available in both rim and disc brakes depending on your riding demands.

The Leggero SL is an ultra-light carbon road race frameset weighing in at just 850g. It provides the perfect weapon for battles into the sky. Every detail of the Leggero SL has been painstakingly researched and refined. Condor use a mix of different carbons with a variety of properties to create the lightest frameset in their range. Like its aero counterpart the Leggero SL is available with both rim and disc brakes.

Condor Classico and Fratello

Condor built their reputation on classic steel frames and they still offer a range of different models to this day. Fashion and trends come and go, but Condor have always believed in the value of artisan craftsmanship. The Classico is constructed using modern materials and traditional techniques for a timeless design. Investment-cast lugs are painstakingly engraved at the bottom bracket and fork crown for added detail that harks back to the golden age of cycling.

The fratello is Condor’s flagship steel frame and the original superbike is continually improving! Used as a commuter by some, fast tourer or winter trainer by others, its inherent versatility makes it ideal if you don't have space for a stable of bikes. The frame includes space for pannier bags and mudguards. Custom drawn and shaped tube sections used at the seat stays create a responsive frame that minimises rider fatigue and maintains ride quality. The latest model uses lighter and smoother, custom-shaped Columbus Spirit tubing. This responsive triple-butted steel is lively and exciting to ride, whatever the weather.
